A sampling of songs from 2012 - written for online songwriting challenges. All songs labelled as "song fight track" were written to a given title. The "Nur Ein tracks" were written to the title and an additional challenge - "Architect" (about the Winchester Mystery house) had to include a round, "Cold Comfort" had to include a tongue twister.
The Spintunes tracks did not have a specified title, but did have a challenge - "Space Opera Valentine" was my response to having to write a love song for someone who is not my significant other, "Easy as ABC" was a song that had to be written using words that started with only seven letters of the alphabet, "When the Tide Comes in" was a response to writing about a specific photograph.
Lastly, "Never" was in written in response to writing a song that seemed to be at odds with itself.
Lots of the songs were written and recorded quickly - sorry for any inconsistency in quality.
